BRIEF OVER VIEW AND SHOW DESCRIPTION

Prowl the Sky started in early 2008 formerly known as "Maimed Corpse." The first three of us (Noah, Josh, Brandon) jammed for about 2 1/2 to 3 months before we recruiting Ron Ridinger to come forth and help us on our road to success, of one day being touring musicians. We then changed our name to "Blackened by Burning" which did not suit us well, and did our final name change to our current name "Prowl the Sky." We were finally satisfied and fed up with the name changing. We were then ready to rock to the world. On June 8, 2009 we rocked up at the KCMO public library to play our first show! We then appeared the next day in the KC Star news paper on the front page of the event section!

Our next show was our first BOTB. We hit up Jim Kilroy's famous KC Club Wars on July 19th at the Mission Theater. We didn't have the honors to win but it was a close call. We were told we placed 2nd on votes.

By then it was time to go back to school. In early August we kicked off "Back 2 school" with two free shows. We played the Adobe House and then a house show. We had the chance at these shows of playing with the following great bands:

Sour Apple Surgery

The Imaginary Invalid

Below the Mercy Line

Although these shows were fun, they weren't the best for exposure. We were then honored to get invited back to play at the Uptown Theater (Nowhere Bar Area) by Jim Kilroy. You can view our flyers photos to view the awesome bands Kilroy set us up to play with.

Our next show was our first late night show. We decided to play "Jerrys Bait Shop." At this show we were again honored to play with the following great bands:

Plague of Sinai

GangstaswithCapguns

Imaginary Invalid

We then continued to get on all possible show opportunities. The next show we hit up was a Gorilla Productions BOTB. We were hit up by the very pleasant and easy going Andrea @ Gorilla. Thanks for working with us!

It was our first chance to play a bigger venue and we were very grateful.

Our next show we played, was our first at a very common venue. "Yahweh Underground Aka the Yahweh House." We simply loved it, and we can't wait to go back.

On November 21 we unleashed our two brand new songs in the arms of the El Torreon. It was a great show and our first official "Metal Show." We hope to hit that place up again soon!

Please Check out all our new shows and past shows! And comment on our flyers if you went to any of those shows...!

Thanks
